He knew early on that dentistry was what he wanted to do, and he earned his DDS with honours at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, where he was recognized among the top-performing students in clinical dentistry. After graduation, home won out over anywhere else: he returned to Alberta and now cares for patients at Redwater Dental — everything from routine check-ups to restorative and cosmetic work.
