Do I qualify?
Eligibility is decided by the Government of Canada, not by our clinic. You must meet all four requirements:
- No access to private dental insurance.
- You have filed your tax return in Canada for the previous year. This also applies to your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable.
- Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000.
- You are a Canadian resident for tax purposes. This also applies to your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable.

What will I pay?
Your co-payment depends on your adjusted family net income. The percentages below apply to CDCP-established fees for eligible services.

| Under $70,000 | 0% (no co-payment) |
| $70,000–$79,999 | 40% |
| $80,000–$89,999 | 60% |
Some services are not covered. If our fee is above the CDCP fee, you may pay the difference. These extra charges can apply even when your income-based co-payment is 0%. We review costs with you before treatment.

Are you taking new CDCP patients?
Yes. New CDCP patients are welcome at Redwater Dental Clinic. Call, text or book online to arrange your visit.
Do you bill CDCP directly?
Yes. We accept CDCP and bill Sun Life directly for eligible services.
Will I have to pay anything?
Co-payments depend on your adjusted family net income and are calculated using CDCP fees. You may also pay for services the plan does not cover or the difference if our fee is above the CDCP fee. We review costs with you before treatment.
How do I apply?
Apply through the Government of Canada. Visit the official CDCP website for eligibility requirements and application instructions. Eligibility is decided by the Government of Canada, not by our clinic.
Can I use CDCP with your membership plan?
No. CDCP patients cannot join our membership plan.
