Redwater Dental Clinic - Are Invisalign results permanent?
Orthodontic treatment can be done using either traditional braces or clear aligners. Invisalign has become known as the most advanced clear aligner system in the world. Using precise 3D digital scans, custom trays are created and fitted in person for maximum comfort and subtle appearance.
Many patients begin seeing results within a few weeks. Your aligners are removable, easy to clean, and allow you to enjoy the foods you love without compromising your oral hygiene.

For a beautiful smile and a healthy lifestyle
Straight teeth not only enhance your smile, they also support better health. While it might seem like crooked teeth are only a cosmetic concern, they can actually lead to long term dental problems.
- Chipped or worn front teeth
- Food getting trapped between teeth
- Difficulty flossing or cleaning properly
- Higher risk of cavities between teeth
- Gum disease, which has been linked to heart disease, stroke, arthritis, and even Alzheimer’s disease
More than 80 percent of people have some form of crowding or misalignment. This can contribute to:
If any of these issues sound familiar, schedule a consultation so we can evaluate your oral health and determine if Invisalign is right for you.

When is the right time to start?
Whether you’ve been considering orthodontic treatment for years or just received a recommendation from your dentist, the sooner you begin, the better. Teeth continue to shift over time, so waiting often means more complex treatment in the future.
The more correction your teeth require, the longer the treatment will take. Starting sooner usually means shorter treatment times and lower costs.
If affordability is a concern, we can go over payment options with you. Most patients do not need to pay the full cost upfront.

There’s a beautiful solution
We’ve helped many patients improve not just the look of their smile, but their overall oral health and confidence. Invisalign aligners can give you the freedom to smile, speak, and live your life with ease.

What to expect once you begin treatment
Your treatment plan
We start by taking detailed digital scans of your teeth. Using Invisalign’s advanced software, we can map out your treatment plan and show you how your teeth will shift over time. You will even get a preview of how your smile will look at each stage of the process. Once the plan is finalized, your custom aligners are created using Invisalign’s high precision printing technology.
The first aligners
When your aligners are ready, we may place small attachments on your teeth to help keep the trays in place. These attachments are tooth coloured and very discreet. They are removed at the end of treatment.
Follow-up appointments
You will receive a series of aligners and wear each one for about two weeks. Each tray gradually moves your teeth closer to their ideal position. We will schedule check ins approximately every one to two months to monitor your progress and make adjustments if needed.
